How a cup of coffee tastes depends as much on the quality of the water as it does on the beans. The right water treatment system lets operators keep water chemistry consistent across locations and dial in the ideal mix of minerals for brewing. In addition to making sure that you are not ruining the taste of the expensive coffee and tea that you have invested in, the right water treatment system can also increase the efficiency of your expensive brewing equipment while protecting it from dirt, scale or corrosion.

Everpure’s unique filters utilize a refined activated carbon to eliminate chlorine taste and odor and other offensive contaminants. These filters also save energy by reducing scale build-up. A proportioned scale inhibitor feed inside each filter dramatically prevents limescale from forming in brewing equipment. New and improved Micro-Pure II media with AgION™ antimicrobial protection inhibits any potential bacterial growth inside the filter. With precoat submicron technology, dirt and particles as small as ½ micron in size are reduced, eliminating health contaminants such as asbestos fibers, Cryptosporidium and Giardia. The Sanitary cartridge replacement is simple, quick and clean, and no tools necessary. Internal filter parts are never exposed to handling or contamination. All of these filters are both NSF/ANSI 42 and 53 certified for health effects.
The only real difference between any of the above precoat filter systems above are capacity and flow, (gpm) gallons per minute. The OCS², (Office Coffee System) is designed for small brewers in commercial office settings and features a 1500 gallon capacity with a ½ gpm flow rate. The BH², (Brewer Hot) filter is designed for all commercial brewers, Bunn, Cecilware, Fetco,Wilbur Curtis, etc. requiring a flow rate of ½ gpm or less and features a 3,000 gallon capacity. The MH² ( Multiple Hot) cartridge is also designed to take care of multiple commercial brewers (Bunn, Cecilware, Fetco,Wilbur Curtis, etc ), with a flow rate of 1.67 gpm and featuring a 9,000 gallon capacity paired with the QC7i head, EV9272-41 or 18,000 gallons when used with a QC7i Twin Head, EV9272-22!

Many industrial manufacturers continue to face unprecedented inflationary pressures, supply scarcities, labor constraints, and escalating transportation costs. These extraordinary circumstances have affected the global business environment and remain a concern as we approach the coming year.

Nevertheless, as we approach 2022, it will be necessary to implement further pricing actions to counteract ongoing material shortages, logistical challenges and inflation.
As a result, we are implementing a 10% price increase on new orders for valves, tanks, filtration and softening products effective December 13, 2021. Additionally, a surcharge of 10% will be applied retroactively to any order that has not shipped prior to December 13, 2021, with the exception of past due orders that had an acknowledged ship date prior to November 29, 2021.
To avoid any payment issues please update your system to include the surcharge on all open POs and new orders with the updated pricing. Please consult with your Pentair sales representative regarding specific pricing questions and work with your customer service representative to make any changes to existing orders.

For the past several months, we have been experiencing longer than normal lead times with all of our manufacturers. The extended lead times have been attributed to a number of factors that are currently happening worldwide and not just in the United States.
Materials used in most all manufacturing plants globally are in critical low supply and the distribution of goods has slowed dramatically for last several months causing longer delays than expected on shipments to be delivered. Instead of days or a couple of weeks we experienced in the past for deliveries, those waiting periods are now turning into several weeks and months.
For the time being and in the foreseeable future, it is recommended that product ordering should not be a last-minute decision. If you use or are needing replacement water filters, new filtration systems or any other filtration products, please order those items as soon as possible and do not wait. The longer you wait, the longer the lead times.
