Chloramine Filter

Many municipal water authorities use an inorganic compound known as chloramine to disinfect local water supplies. While this approach to purifying water is moderately effective, there are side effects – namely a“bleach” taste and odor. Of course, the water being consumed does not contain bleach, but this doesn’t make it any less pleasant to drink. Introducing a chloramine filter in your water treatment system therefore, can significantly reduce the unpleasant taste and odor associated with the presence of chloramine in a water supply. Pentek’s radial flow chloramine reduction water filter cartridges are ideal for this purpose. Commonly used at the point-of-entry, these cartridges are designed for high-flow rate applications. At Filter Pure Systems, Inc., we are dedicated to providing our customers with the means of filtering their water not only to the highest levels of safety possible, but of taste as well. Pentek’s chloramine reduction filters are an excellent example of a product we are proud both to carry and offer to our customers.
