- NSF/ANSI Standard 55: Ultraviolet Microbiological Water Treatment Systems. This standard establishes requirements for point-of-use (POU) and point-of-entry (POE) non-public water supply (non-PWS) ultraviolet systems and includes two optional classifications.

What is UV?
