Ordinary water filtration systems are not appropriate for every application. For heavier duty operations, a more substantial unit is required. For these systems, Pentek has developed the ST-BC series filter housings. Constructed of 304 stainless steel and finished with a gray-silver epoxy finish, these large-scale cartridge housing units are appropriate for schools, institutions, restaurants, farms, and industrial use. Depending on the unit, each housing can hold between 4 and 20 cartridges, and maintain a flow rate of between 28-125 gpm. In addition, they feature drains on both the “clean” and “dirty” sides of the sump.
