For use in water supplies plagued by orange and brown staining in sinks and tubs, or with “metallic” tasting water, iron reduction cartridges can be installed inline in nearly any of Pentek’s filter cartridge housings. When used properly, this filter can reduce up to 3 ppm of dissolved iron within a drinking supply.
Note: The filter should be installed on your main cold water line before the pressure tank or water meter.
