Pentek’s answer to other high-efficiency polypropylene cartridges yielded the POLYDEPTH® filtration cartridge. This proprietary line of filters is constructed of thermally bonded polypropylene microfibers which ensures high-efficiency performance with minimal fiber release. The material is grooved (which adds surface area), will not impart a “taste” on the water being filtered, and is not prone to bacterial attack. In addition to being manufactured in micron ratings from 1 to 50 microns, the cartridges are made in sizes ranging from 9 ¾” – 40”.
